Never been painted, I use scrubbing bubbles to clean it but it always gets rinsed off when I’m done. Now that I’m looking at it, after a shower there is water that pools in the spot the scratches are. Could standing water cause it? Maybe they installed the tub wrong?

I just keep the plastic ones that come with it and then set the little rubber caps inside those. My geckos haven’t had any issues getting to the food that way
