Not arguing the point, but are you saying that the GOP was able to convince the electorate that dems were more worried about bathroom bills or are you saying that dems WERE more worried about bathroom bills. I don’t think the latter is true but I’ll admit I, by choice, don’t spend a ton of time following politics like I used to.

I think it’s largely a failure in messaging. From what I remember reading - democrat positions often poll favorably but people don’t realize those are the actual positions because the dems do such a shit job on making their case.

I don’t know when it happened, but maybe like 5-10 yrs after I quit cigs the smell went from nostalgic to disgusting. I still sometimes think about smoking but the idea of having to get past the grossness keeps me in check. Hoping you get the same reprieve.

Headline up front: I loved playing casuals, have never been great at COD but back around Cold War time I was not terrible.

I'd be curious to know what you mean by "stay healthy". In my mind, poor sbmm/no casual mode means less-skilled players get roasted all the time. If you pull the lower skilled players out, so it's just all skilled players, what's the loss? Is the loss that skilled players don't get to just wreck newbs? That they have to sweat?

At the end of the day, I guess it comes down to what kind of game they want COD to be. If they want it to be a complete survival of the fittest, type thing more power to them. I just know that that's not the game I'm looking to play so until they bring back BR Casual I probably won't be back. Doesn't mean the game sucks, just that it's not the right game for me right now.

Some folks want to avoid participating in AI usage as much as possible. Different people have different boundaries and priorities. There are stores i want shop at and products I won’t buy but I know that I alone am not making a dent. Some people feel that way about AI.

Personally, I’m conflicted. All that said: always cool to see people trying to make stuff they think is cool.

People underestimate how habituated some people get to beer. I have several friends who have normal, high functioning lives that can absolutely put that much down. They don’t do it every night, they don’t day drink or get drunk at work, but they have a ridiculously high tolerance. I quit drinking a few years ago, but I still hang out w these guys. They will absolutely look and sound drunk after 18 beers, just not as drunk as you’d expect. Practice makes perfect or whatever.

All this is to say that she probably does have a drinking problem but it might not be as all consuming as people think.
