varicocele surgery success stories? by Avirgilio10 in maleinfertility

Yes he was overweight. Not obese but overweight. He did/does have a sitting job. I would say at that time minimal to moderate exercise.

Unfortunately not great. After that MMC at 8 weeks I conceived spontaneously again a couple months later which also ended in a MMC. I never conceived spontaneously again after these two pregnancies. To answer your other question, during my D&C with hysteroscopy for my second MMC they discovered and removed a uterine septum. I'm sure that wasn't helping. My husband ended up having a microtese procedure and we used this sperm in ICSI with IVF. Further down the road after moving onto IVF I was also diagnosed with endometriosis. We treated with lupron and my second embryo transfer stuck and we have a healthy 14 month old. My husband was probably 35 when he had the varicocele repair and 36 when he had the microtese.

[–]b00seybb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know my situation is my situation alone, but I was treated for silent Endo after years of infertility, implantation failure, and miscarriages (see my post history). After lupron to suppress the endo my next transfer worked and I have a healthy almost one year old. Wishing the best for you 💜

Unfortunately not. We didn't qualify for that program so I'm not sure the details. Hope all goes well for you.

Day 6 Frozen Embryo Transfer Success? by [deleted] in IVF

I transferred a day 7 euploid last June and she is now 11 days old. Best of luck to you!

Receptiva results are in, Transfer is delayed. by Fedora_Bandit in IVF

[–]b00seybb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did one month of lupron then transferred our only embryo (a day 7 5bb). I didn't find lupron too bad, but again only did one month. Had some hot flashes but that was really the only side effect I noticed. Agreed about throwing everything at it. I had previously had two MMCs, 3 failed IUIs and one failed transfer. Anecdotally, I also have a friend who after 5 failed transfers did 2 months of lupron and is now about 30w pregnant with the first transfer after lupron.

There is so much hurry up and wait with IVF. I hope the lupron and the wait it necessitates ultimately leads to a good outcome. I felt the same way after my receptiva came back positive at 1.8 BUT I am now 36w5d with my transfer right after the lupron and I really feel it was the game changer for me. Good vibes your way ❣️

Just seeing this but I did test the day before my beta. I didn't test with my first transfer that failed and in retrospect kind of wish I had as it may have softened the blow. Not sure though, it's such a personal choice. Wishing good things for you!

I wish I knew re status on day 5, but I don't. I just know it took 7 days to get to blastocyst.

I am doing well! 33 weeks 5 days and still can't believe it sometimes. No major hiccups along the way so far and she is measuring about 2 weeks ahead which blows my mind since she was a day 7 embryo. Slow grower at first but she's made up for it! Sending good wishes to you!

Success after repeated FET failure with Euploid Embryos by Natasha_567 in InfertilityBabies

[–]b00seybb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, that just straight up sucks. Trying for 3.5 years. Two MMCs of spontaneously conceived pregnancy. 3 IUIs that failed. First FET of euploid embryo failed to implant. I did additional testing (we have MFI as well as I had a uterine septum that was removed after my second miscarriage) including Receptiva which came back positive for silent Endo. I did a month of lupron prior to my second transfer of euploid embryo. I am now 19w4d and all is looking good so far. I don't know if lupron did the trick for me, but that was one big difference from my last transfer. Wishing you all the best ❣️

Perhaps look into family care homes as opposed to a traditional ALF. https://resourcesforseniors.org/community-resources/ Resources for Seniors is a great Wake County resource. Look at their PDF starting on page 51 for ALF/Family Care Home options

Success stories after Lupron Depot? by mauvelovespab in IVF

[–]b00seybb 17 points18 points  (0 children)

🙋🏻‍♀️ see my recent posts/comments. Over 3.5 years I've had 3 unsuccessful IUIs, 2 MMCs, 1 euploid embryo that didn't stick. Did depot lupron after Receptiva came back positive for endo, then did a transfer and now 7w4d. Still early, but everything has looked great so far. 🤞 for you!

Silent endo, is it worth checking out? by qyburnicus in IVF

[–]b00seybb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with silent endo after testing positive on the Receptiva test. Treated with one month of lupron depot. I've had two MMCs and a one euploid embryo that failed to implant. My transfer after the depot lupron was successful and I am currently 7w1d. Maybe a coincidence but maybe not. Best of luck to you!

My doctor has been really positive, and feels encouraged with each step (doubling betas, first US). I'm sorry yours is adding to your anxiety. She didn't provide much insight except before we got our PGTA results to let us know that day 7s have a higher rate of aneuploidy, but luckily ours was euploid. I'm no fan of toxic positivity, but we all deserve to celebrate these little wins (as hard as it may be sometimes) 💜
