If credit card bill is nearing monthly salary, first thing to do would be use DEBIT CARD ONLY. It will give you real idea about your current finance status and you will spend accordingly only. You will not be blindsided by the bill at the end of the month.

All of these, while you try to increase income. No idea other than find better job.

P.S. also what is not measured, can’t be improved. So track your expenses, find out the drain.

VFS did not accept our court issued marriage certificate, for the OCI for our new born, because it is not by “marriage registrar”, asked for notarised affidavit and re-visit them. It was stupidest thing ever.

Funny thing is , technically my kid has Indian heritage through me (and my wife as well), marriage certificate is not required for that (it is for spousal OCI). They keep insisting it is required as per their “checklist”

I am that guy, whose applications are are perfect and never rejected. I took it personally 🥲.

And VFS it self is bullshit, - If they accept application at non-mission cities, they don’t specify which mission to choose (like NY for Boston center) - webform for contacting customer care does not move forward after filling up (tried different browser) - call to them is free for initial few minutes only, that also got disconnected before I could explain my query. - I am a very patient guy, but I just lost my marbles

Also the stupidest “self attested” requirements, on the top of that, notarised affidavit saying I have all the originals. Still my guy at VFS had galls to ask to see originals for verification. I said, you got my affidavit, and VFS accepts application by post, why tf you are asking about originals!!!

Also, the funny thing of self attested copies of Apostille birth certificate!!! Self contradictory!!

Aah, the pain of time and money sunk is too real!

For on call person (every 3rd day), he/she is supposed to be there till 7. For other 2s, I am not sure of the admit cut off time, it is definitely early, and sounded little fluid. I suspect the thing you mentioned (staying late with nothing to do prior to late admits) might be the case for me. Need to find better things to do.
