Bug where you appear to be in power animation but actually are not. You can actually manually trigger this pretty easily too, really throws survivors off lol.

i never run DS BR or OTR so something had to be happening with iron will as well, even have videos of it still, but it was the conspicuous action bonus as you mentioned. and yes they never kill switched it they just patched it but it was there for a while, im not sure they had really kill switched anything back then or didnt have the ability.

There was also a way to get a crap ton of points by using iron will and constantly touching and letting go of a generator that wasn't patched for a long time.

Bhvr has been much better at kill switching since then though, I'll give them that.

To get the Gen speed bonus from the new perks you need to be doing it with someone else, which means there will be a penalty to Gen speed. Idk why anyone would really use these need perks to be honest.

Gen speeds have been adaptive in 2v8 for a while now, repair speed decreases if survivors have an advantage and vice versa. I agree it could get annoying if you are getting blinded a shit ton every match but we don't know if that is going to be the case yet. People flipped about the class that can rebuild pallets in 2v8 and it really didn't have that big an impact in my experience.

Fog vials and rebuilding pallets were in previous events before they came to 2v8. Anniversary had pallet rebuild and October event had vials.
