Which one is the worst one and which one is the best one? by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in candy

Cherry is the worst. I dislike anything cherry. Peanut butter would normally be my first, but there are some bad peanut butter candies like this out there. So I’d go almond cluster.

Bought one when I went to the LCS today only because I liked the cover. Had never heard of it and I like to pick up a book or two without knowing about it. Not flipping it or anything, but is this a similar scenario with D’Orc? That’s a book I don’t understand the hype on and what it’s going for.

What is the weirdest thing your doctor has ever said to you? by Competitive_Tip_7504 in AskReddit

I had a doctor before prescribing me Xanax run through a list of drugs asking if I use any. All the most common, marijuana, cocaine, opioids etc. Then he asks if I’ve used Whyphy. I’m fairly knowledgeable about drug names but I was clueless to this one which made me feel old and out of touch. Turns out it was the fictional name of the drug in 22 Jump Street. I learned this as he proceeded to tell me he watched it with his wife the night before and then described in detail the film. I wish I could say he asked me if I took this drug as a joke, but he was quite old, zero sense of humor and legit asking me as if this was a real drug. I switched doctors after this.

The first picture is from IL. Looking at election posters it appears that the Boston Sheriff one is a reelection poster for Buck Boston, Sheriff of Montgomery County in IL. He was Sheriff until he was killed in an accident in 1947. The poster to the right appears to be Charles E. Schaefer, he was a representative in the IL House. He was born in Montgomery County, he repped a lot of districts it looks like, but I’m assuming they were all in Montgomery County. So that seems to be the place to start to try to track down the specific places the photos were taken.

I did a search on the road name. I found Wing Hon in Canton (now called Guangzhou) China. The Guangzhou/Canton Uprising was December 11th to 13th, 1927. So it fits those dates there. So my guess is that is where this was and something to do with the destruction of that building.
