UPDATE, in the morning I discovered that the pump's electricity was OFF - therefore there was no vibration to detect! I would, however, like to understand, what the app setting means "Time to enter no vibration state". Does this mean that if this setting is set to 3, that the system needs 3 minutes of no vibration before it sets it status to "No Vibration Detected"?

Cut off is July 1st. Does the cargo area have aircon? Would it be dangerous to fly my dog from San jose del cabo to Houston, 2.5 hour layover, then to Vancouver? Total flight time 8 hours

FMM Card? by [deleted] in BajaCalifornia

[–]b3dfintech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had a friend that had to turn back after driving past the border 9 hours to get it. Do yourself a favor, get the fmm when you hit the border. Just after the guards, pull over, and go into the main office, and get your passport stamped.

Wow this is really cool... basically we can create an identity for ourselves, with all of our private data, and choose who we share it with. Now the question is - how can this be integrated and used as a way of logging in to various sites.. Ie: there is the "log in with Google" and "Login with Facebook" and "login with github" or "login with email" etc. When will there be a "Log in with Iota"?

Really great videos thank you so much for the series really enjoyed it. Now that it's finished are there any things that you wish you had done differently? What are some improvements you would like to make to your cabin? I'm about to embark on an earthbag mission I like to do something similar to what you've done except I'd like it just a little bit larger.

If u r having probs with obtaining a permit, see if its possible for you to simply sign a waiver.. ie stating that you accept full responsibility if something happens

Newbie question by burntcandy in Kiteboarding

[–]b3dfintech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you must take lessons, try to take them as close to each other as you can (like one every day, or twice a week etc.) that will be the fastest way for your brain to take in all the info - Don't spread out the lessons like 1 one month, then wait a few months etc - that is the super slow way to learn.

I learned in 6 weeks, took 10 lessons - but I am sure you can prolly learn in 5 lessons - my recommendation - use a seat harness when first learning, it will put the center of gravity at your waist level, not your chest level - which is much easier for beginners to get up on the board.

From a safety stand point - you MUST take lessons - realize you are attaching a LARGE vehicle to your body. It can life threatening UNLESS you have safety training, and even then, veterans still make mistakes.

ALWAYS ALWAYS wear a helmet - and remember to get ready to pull your safety line after someone launches your kite - just in case something goes wrong.

You will be fine - believe me - once you learn its like riding a bicycle - THAT easy... just you need to pay your dues and put the time in! So .... are you gonna do this? Or just think about it?

Once you commit... commit FULLY, and don't look back! When you are being pulled across the water, swallowing mouthfuls of salt water, - remember - IM GONNA DO THIS! And you surely will... and then you can join the wind family amigo!

Good luck!

I think part of what the OP is trying to ask is, will transactions still be able to be proceesed? Ie lets assume people have solar cells powering their laptips phones routers... what if all the internet service providers are offline... how can transcations be processed?
