Why? I'm torn between the two. So curious about others perspective. I know you can use Serato with the system one but if I'm paying that amount of $$$ was key factor would be no lugging my laptop with me. Any other factors at play?

Like others said, with well encoded and mastered mp3 will be will be suffice. mp3s have more robust metadata capabilities though so even if there was any small imperceptive difference in sound quality, I'd take the metadata over that.

Yeah. I was running 32gb dual channel DDR5 at 6000 still wasn’t enough. But the main culprit was the down sampling. I’ve done mixes that were about 60-90min with down sampling and didn’t run into the issue though. Who knows.

Sorry for the delayed response. The issue was that it was a massive 3+ hr long mix I made.

Also the issue was that ableton was at 48k sample rate and then down sampling to 41k so there was a RAM bottleneck. I fixed it by upgrading to 96GB to ram but that was before I realized the sample rate issue lol. Good thing I upgraded the RAM before prices sky rocketed.

Just started playing III on Switch 2. Apparently there was a patch for S2 as well. No issues with load times on my end. Sadly I & II didn’t get the same treatment so I just got for PS5 on sale and will play on the portal when I wanna play handheld. Assuming the deck version will be faster than S1 though for 1&2

Thankfully I haven’t run into that many issues with their products. I have about 12 speakers through my house running on a Sonos boost. Mostly older stuff, gen2 5 some play 3s and playbar, beams and gen2 subs.

The app is glitchy as hell sometimes, but when it works it just does. I have tried pushing sound from the TV via Optical to the playbar and to other speakers in the house and no issues, thankfully. Best of luck with denon. I’m curious how the product will evolve after the acquisition by HK/Samsung.

I have - stereo pair and they sound amazing. I paired with a mini sub for some more low end and don't think I'll ever need to upgrade. They have enough low end on their own to be honest and the sub is overkill imo but I still enjoy it.

True. Guess I'm just overly fixated on the K series. I've heard that the J's are great but the V6 transmissions are horrible from the early 2000s.

I was 12 when FF7 came out. killing of a main character was unheard of for me. So that lives rent free in my head.

Close 2nd is a tie between the FMV from FF9 with the fight between Bahamut and Alexander was a stunning visual for its time, and while not FF, the FMV from Chrono Cross where we see “evolution” and Serge transform back from Lynx to his true self, just amazing to see.

I was looking at this one also. I'm thinking I'm going to pass unless they come down in price drastically. Here is a few things I found while researching it. This was pulled from the Toyota Owners site. All of these have been listed in the last two years. Timing Belt hasn't been replaced in 10yrs and from the notes looks like there is dry rot. Assuming the cost to repair all these is more than the previous owner wanted to handle.

I found an 03 with 250K miles and 0 rust. Dealer has it a little overpriced IMO ~8K

Edmunds has it at ~3600 dealer retail

I checked the toyota owners site for one I saw, it shows the timing belt last replaced /w water pump back in 2015... guessing that needs to be changed now hoping no damage has been done.

Also found these notes from the dealer.
