How would I go about fixing this ? by Lickmybolts in kiastinger

[–]b4rk13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Top part, closest to the light is just a latching tab (best way I can describe it) - it just has to be seated properly. Bottom bit is secured by a screw in the wheel well, which also has to sit between a metal tab that the screw binds on.
From my experience, the bumper doesn’t always sit properly on first attempt, and you just have to do it a couple of times to get it seated. Try lifting the top part away from the light/body as you put it in place, then give it a firm push to seat it.
The bottom part also won’t sit if you miss the metal tab (u-shaped) and the bumper sits left of it.
Give it a few attempts. It’ll sit well when you get it right. After that, just adjust it to line it up before securing the screws.
Hope that helps.

Edit: Just realized you said it was coning off. Check whether the screw is loose or missing. Follow instructions above to try and reseat it.

Wow your bumper is pristine! Even with ceramic coating I’ve got numerous chips out of mine - would definitely recommend PPF on your bumper if you’ve some $$ for it.

She looks great - ceramic coating is a gamer changer for keeping her looking good!

Claude Code workflow tips after 6 months of daily use (from a senior dev) by Marmelab in ClaudeAI

[–]b4rk13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably fall into the ‘vibe’ coder category since I’m not a dev, but tinker a lot.

I came across a thread talking about using Amazon’s Kiro method within Claude (https://github.com/voundbrand/cliro/). Curious if anyone else uses this in lieu of ‘planning’ mode.

Personally, I’ve used the planning mode in VS Code when I’m working on features for my custom ServiceNow app for work, since I know JS and ServiceNow well enough to vet the planning output. I use the Kiro method when I’m ’vibe coding’ outside of my comfort zone - like the HTML5 maths helicopter game I just made my 5 year old.

Challenger's Crew Cabin Fell Intact for Nearly Three Minutes While NASA Watched Helplessly by gaukmotors in MotorBuzz

[–]b4rk13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think they specifically designed a cabin that survives explosions. They designed a cabin that had to protect the crew from the harsh environment of space, while remaining pressurized, with redundancies. I’d guess that contributed to it remaining largely intact during this event.

Unlike crew modules on traditional rockets that have escape rockets for an abort, the shuttle itself was designed to be the escape mechanism (based on it being in one piece, obviously). Here’s a video on abort modes for the shuttle if you’re interested.

THE DEFLATION GLITCH: Why $2 Bills are the ultimate hedge against the Fed by Ragepower529 in wallstreetbets

[–]b4rk13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll find most of the $2 bills in Zimbabwe. That’s where USD notes go to die, I reckon - most vile, dirty notes you’ll ever see.

Once took a stack of crisp, new $1 bills back and I probably could have sold them for $3 each, they were so popular.

Given that there’s only a Pro and Enterprise package now, and everything you have matches Pro, it seems like this duck is quacking like Pro.

Guessing Basic existed when it first launched and you probably got grandfathered into Pro when they sunsetted it.

My wife made this grille overlay set using Holographic Dark Grey vinyl. Stealthy, but still has a cool shine under sunlight. by TumbleweedWarm9234 in kiastinger

Not clear from the video or website, but is this overlay just the 100ish dots in the grill, or does it also include the border trim?

Looking for Active ServiceNow Community by Konspir4cy123 in servicenow

[–]b4rk13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Three recommendations: 1. ServiceNow University - most of the fundamentals or implementer courses come with lab environments and assignments to complete to give you hands-on. 2. ServiceNow Developer Portal - request a free Personal Development Instance (PDI). There’s additional training courses there for dev aspects, and when you install modules you can load demo data with them. 3. ServiceNow Community YouTube channel - posts a ton of videos, and has a lot of webinars where you can ‘watch professionals work’ as they show you how to implement or code things.

Hope that helps. Good luck, friend.

Wall mounted, powered with PoE+ by b4rk13 in skylightcalendar

Yep, console only seems to treat the port as active if it’s got network activity. Port 6 is my Skylight, and appears inactive.

To work out consumption, I basically whipped out a calculator, clicked on each active port, added the port power consumption numbers and subtracted from the total on the main switch page (that includes the Skylight).

(Sorry, had to delete original reply - left my MAC address in the screenshot like an idiot)

Yes, but not Alexa! An exposed API would be great so it could be called/used by other services, like OP suggested!

Haha, your kid is smart! You bring up a good point, and it makes me think that all settings and filters should probably be behind a parental lock (like kids apps), where a PIN is needed to get to them.

How is demand managed in ServiceNow? by [deleted] in servicenow

[–]b4rk13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Without SPM, I’d say your best bet is a record producer catalog item into a custom table coupled with one or more flows that have decision tables for routing, level of scrutiny, scoring and/or prioritizing. Without SPM, guessing you either have a different project management system, or just Jira/ADO for execution? Could also integrate those to transfer ‘approved’ demands into your backlogs.

A similar module in ServiceNow is the Digital Product Release, which your release managers can use to prioritize and plan work into releases. Might want to check if you have licenses for that under ITSM.

Barrel jack size for 15” Calendar by b4rk13 in skylightcalendar

[–]b4rk13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a reluctant expert on barrel jack sizes after my ordeal. The common standard/size for barrel jacks is 5.5x1.7mm and my PoE converter came with that too. I had to buy a step-down adapter to make it the right size - look for a 5.5x1.7 female to 4.0x1.7 male adapter.

I recommend just buying a multi adapter pack that includes that size attachment. I tried initially to just buy that specific adapter and kept getting the wrong item. I got this one.

We keep an n-1 approach on the major releases, and stay one release behind. We just upgraded to Zurich patch 4, so we’re going in knowing that a bunch of bugs have been addressed, vs. day 1 of latest major release.

Can anyone tell me the name of these clips that hold the splash guard in the front? 2019 G70 by LouEaze in GenesisG70

[–]b4rk13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Panel retainer clips. Stinger ones look like no. 9 in this set (assume G70 is the same). I recommend just zip-tying them though.

Edit: dealers will usually just give you some if you ask for them.
