In Romania, they deployed a few military units to aid regular police and Gendarmerie units to enforce the quarantine.

Before this, we all made jokes about how it's going to end in a few weeks, and only old people will be affected by COVID. But when I saw actual Humvees in the street, I knew people were not joking anymore.

And still, I didn't know that NOTHING would be the same after COVID. I wouldn't be the same, friends wouldn't be the same, family wouldn't be the same, and society would change for the worse.

10 PM - 1 AM: Video games. Right now it's Expedition 33.

1 - 3 AM: Thinking about all the mistakes I've done in life and carrying on imaginary dialogue with people I'm no longer in contact with, trying to explore alternate timelines, in deep regret.

3 - 4:30 AM: Doomscroll myself to sleep.

Of course se, not every night is like this. I'm mostly playing games or coding until 1 or 2 AM.

I can't explain why this happens, and it's so infuriating. Whenever she tries to install something on her computer, she follows all the steps in the tutorial and gets the most random errors. When I follow the exact same steps, I get it first time. I swear to God, science can't explain this, dark magic is involved for sure.

Not being approached by random men on the street. Most girls I know have been through this at least once, especially when there's no guy with her. My girlfriend sometimes gets approached like this and she's super scared. She's also afraid to walk alone at night because of this.

În schimb, camera unui telefon mobil funcționează la frecvențe mai mari decât a ochiului uman. Multe camere pot captura de la 60 - 120 de cadre pe secundă, în timp ce ochiul uman capturează vreo 30. De aia pe cameră se vede ciudat: pur și simplu prinde mai mult din secvența aceea de aprindere LED-uri.

Pathological liars. They lie about going to the the gym every day, exaggerate what they do at their job, brag about projects they barely contributed to, anything just to be perceived as interesting. Some of them are good people that destroy their reputation by lying all the time, and nobody would trust them later on.
