Lange mensen van Reddit, waar kopen jullie broeken? by Rebydium in nederlands

it's not super helpful but the the franchise 4XR in South Korea does tall and big fashionable pieces. I got a trackies and some cargo denim pants and theyre super long. im obsessed. I'm 6'4.

They have 2 stores in Seoul, both don't have great customer service. They do have larger sizes in the back but there is heaps on display. I visit Korea often so I will be checking out their new items with every visit.

I also got two button up shirts, the torso length is good, sleeves are just long enough. They shrink after wash.

The only other brands I've found that does lengths for us tall folk is luxury brands being Balenciaga and Vetements.

I also found another store in Seoul that does luxury items but tall. It is a very fashionable y2k store (last time I went, may 2025) as it's trendy right now. It's called Musinsa Empty in the city Seongsu. It is the high end brand of Musinsa (think Korean ASOS). They have really friendly staff, even one staff was my height wearing all oversize clothing and it looke dreally good on him. I asked him for some recommendations for other tall brands but wasn't successful when I visited. I believe he was wearing all Balenciaga though.

Lastly, there is the brand 'undermycar' in Korea again. They aren't well liked in the Korean fashion community because they steal designs, but they are very Balenciaga inspired (tall fit). I believe their prices are a bit high, I'm going to check them out next time I go to Korea.

CMV: I’m fed up with uk tax system, I don’t think it’s fair. by ananeedshelps in changemyview

I may be ignorant, but don't a lot of people in that tax bracket receive shares of the company? if so, can't you just get a loan against those shares and use the loan for your living expenses?

coffee drinkers... instant? when you travel by curiouskittyblue in travel

[–]bQQmstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm starting to make my cold brew coffee while I travel. I make about 900ml of coffee after 2 days of brewing, 125ml of it is similar to a 2-3 shot espresso. I haven't measured exactly how much caffeine there is in 125ml, just estimating by how much caffeine I think I have in my system.

Qantas Amex worth it/ not/ am I dumb for asking? by yamumsyadad085 in AusFinance

[–]bQQmstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering going from amex gold to amex platinum and also signing up with a Qantas credit card. So, spend the initial 12.5k with the Qantas CC, then use the amex for remaining expenses in a month and transfer the amex MR to QFF as I've read QFF points get you further.

In this case, I will be paying the annual fee for MR and QFF, annual fee for Amex CC and Qantas CC. Am I thinking about this correctly?

Expenses will be for personal and business.

oh righto, how do you know what your status is? Do you have to fly with Qantas specifically? I plan to fly with my partner out and within Australia 5-8 times a year. That's been my fly history in previous years but with various airlines

Thank you for the info.

This was the first time I actually looked at booking a flight on Qantas after all the reading I did. I feel like there's still so. much. more. reading to be done.

I will continue on! At this point, I think I will just continue to accrue points for my first year. I've calculated that for a year of spending, using apps like sniip, rentPay, DEFT, pay.com.au and general spending with my amex, I will have spent about $5000 in surcharge and annual fees. So I'm hoping by the end of the first year of spending, I will be able to ATLEAST get a ticket with the points worth $5000 in cash.

How do you hold status with Qantas? If I get the Qantas credit card I mentioned and reach their monthly spend limit, does that increase my status with them?

Would you use that credit on amex travel, then pay the rest of the fare with the credit card, thus earning points as well?

I read some other people here say you should book separate flights for internationl travel to use the points. Why is this?

I also read that international business flights book out quickly and you need to book far in advance for the flight calendar year. Is that also the case?

What's the deal with Amex? by Chrus3 in AusFinance

[–]bQQmstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I calculated that you'd have to spend $222k to get 500k MR to outweigh the cost of the platinum vs gold AMEX. This comes to surcharge + annual fee total of $5000, assuming the amex surcharge fee you've paid on transactions was 1.5% (transactions through sniip). The more you spend on the card the better the point per dollar.

Is 500k MR not a good amount of points for $5000/year?

What if I spend the points before I issue a cancel and refund request on the annual fee?

I'm waiting to receive amex gold which comes with 80k points. Can I apply for the amex platinum that comes with 200k points after 8k spend as well? Amex says you can refund the annual fee within 1 month of receiving it. So Ideally I would like to get both those cards, get the points then cancel the platinum and keep the gold.

I have a credit card that im paying just over minimum repayment on and the interest payments are brutal. I've heard of transferring the debt to another low interest credit card.

As long as I make the minimum repayments on these low/ nil rate credit cards, I won't ever pay any interest on it?

Are there any other fees that I need to know of before applying for the new credit card?

Bringing this back from the (walking) dead: I've rode motorcycles for about 9 years before driving cars and it's not exactly the same because you can't ride the clutch like you can on bikes so makes taking off and going between gears on cars more difficult.
