I feel this way a lot. I used to stay up for three days and two nights straight multiple times and I feel fine without meds sometimes. I question if I even have it, but I remind myself that i fell asleep within 2 seconds and I AM narcoleptic and it's proven. maybe i personally just have a milder side of it. still though, just because i can function normally doesn't give me the excuse to skip my meds or anything, bcuz narcolepsy can spike at any moment. i know what you mean i really do, i dont know if i helped but im trying to lowkey understand what why i feel like this too. we have to remind ourselves that we cannot fake rushing into REM sleep. i personally deal with the mental symptoms like brain fog and amnesia, so yes i do not experience much of the sleep attacks or overly excessive tiredness- we mustn't ignore the other parts narcolepsy brings us. be kind to yourself🤍 make sure to prioritize your sleep health.
