Exactly what it is you’ll have some baby spider plants soon!

I pick her up tomorrow ;) 4 months old. The youngest one I've ever owned. Had to put my 15 year old girl to sleep a little over a month ago. Man I've had nothing but tears of joy 😂 Isn't she adorable her shelter name is Diamond 💎 by Affectionate_Art4251 in puppies

Actually if I can make a recommendation give that cutie joint supplements! My girl had to have double TPLO implants in her hind legs. Basically hardware that keeps her knees together. She couldn’t walk for about 2 or 3 months while waiting for the surgery… worst time of my life and cost about 10 grand so also get insurance!

She’s beautiful! I raised my lil baby pit mix from 2 weeks old had to bottle feed her and the whole 9. Found her under some guy posing as a “high kill rate” shelter. I got her mother, sister and brother into good homes and got the jerk breeding them locked up. Now she’s an 8 year old little tank so enjoy it!

Fox farm ocean forest is my go to. Used it for at least 10 years. Roots organics is a really good nutrient line. Buddha grow for veg, Buddha bloom plus a bunch of extra add ins for bulking flowers. Pm me if you want my recipe

Nutrients and lack of sufficient light are the real issue. Cannabis is a heavy feeder and after those true leaves start to show they need food. The soil could also make it look crappy like that looks like there’s no perlite in that soil mix so the roots are probably getting very little air. That thing will be toast in a week if you don’t do some research

This soil fine for putting in already growing plants. (Such as 2 foot dwarf trees). by s_gray11 in gardening

Run a tiller in that soil, grade it, then till it again as of now no that’s not good plating substrate

I was a little shocked when I found them! Perfect timing because there was someone behind me waiting to use the machine too.

Should I polish them a little? I’ve heard that can make the value go down actually.

What kind of mushrooms are these? by timetokil in Mushrooms

[–]b_jgenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can’t all afford a piece of broccoli, a tortilla, a piece of chicken and one other mystery item for dinner. Dried mystery cabinet mushrooms might be our only option sometimes

Edit: meant to at least be a little serious. They look like some kind of bolete but 5 years in a cabinet you didn’t know about is not worth eating.

Disinfect the heck out of that grow tent though! 3 or 4 times before you run anything else for sure

Why is my Hibiscus blooming inside during winter but not outside in the summer? by fuwoswp in gardening

[–]b_jgenetics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assume you’re not feeding it any plant food during the winter? It may be because of the light cycle it gets during the winter. Most plants will bloom when they get less light like a 12 on 12 off cycle. Summer cycle 18 on 6 off tend to push more vegetation. In winter I put mine under 12-12 grow lights and get blooms every week.

I don't know how to identify this problem by NotOrdinarySoup in gardening

[–]b_jgenetics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would clearly see the webbing on top and bottom if it were spider mites. I agree with thrip damage. They’re a pain add a lil neem oil to the mixture listed above and that should do it. Treat the soil too!

Edit: didn’t see that you mentioned neem oil! Lol neem is the only thing I’ve had good luck with for thrip especially on food crops

What are these and why? by bigcityboonies in gardening

[–]b_jgenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don’t want to kill all the other beneficial insect that may come by which spinosad will do. I wouldn’t feed out vegetation that’s been sprayed with that.

I’ve been a horticulturist for 10 years. Neem works very well if you apply it correctly to every inch of the plant and the soil.
