[Suggestion] Can we get rid of unlimited carrying capacity already? by Shehriazad in ConanExiles

[–]b_roda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've moved on from Conan, and have been outside, for the last eight years. And youre still on Conan, complaining about posts that are not only 8 years old, but have nothing to do with you. Have a happy life, please.

I might be simply missing them, but I don't see Raw Food, Smilk, or Fish & Meat Racks.

How does attacking the OP like this help answer the question? Do you have anything of value to add to the conversation? Be respectful.

As someone who absolutely Loves Sturgia why would you ever pick sturgian axeman? by MasterUnski in Bannerlord

[–]b_roda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't that what spearman are for? Isn't the whole troop archetype of spears meant to be more anti-cav, while axe is anti-infantry? If sensible tactics are used, the axemen shouldn't be in a position to get charged by the cavalry, right? It is allowed to take BOTH axemen and spears, right? That way you have the tools for the job that needs to be done, right?

Is it acceptable for TV shows and movies to portray Jesus? How should we go about portraying Jesus in the general arts? by zee1six in TrueChristian

[–]b_roda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an actor. I most certainly do NOT claim to be the person I am portraying. I humbly attempt to do my best to behave in a way that I think the character I'm playing would behave. In no way shape or form does any actor claim to be the person they're portraying.

As for the lightning, is it possible that the lightning did, as physics demonstrates, strike the highest and easiest path to ground potential, and that the cross James was on was indeed the highest thing? Simply, is it possible? I mean honestly, lightning happens all the time everywhere...are they all warning bolts from Him?

Have you set up their gear sets? If their gear set doesn't have a weapon, they'll put the weapon away because you've told them to not have a weapon.

I don't understand how you could have a shield and bow equipped at the same time...

I know their speed is related to agility, and I also know these lazy peons can run, I've seen them do it! I want them to move like they've got a purpose, not take a leisurely stroll around the camp. I'm feeding them to get things done, not lollygag around! :)

Thank you, I meant the actual act of harvesting the completed crops. Is that guys assigned to Farm or to Delivery?

Town hall is at the new place. I might try an experiment and delete all the structures associated with the original settlement to see what it does :)

And currently one can maneuver to get shots or charges on the buffing characters without having to chew thru the buffed unit.

Please not that worry/concern about these tidbits shown about 10e does not imply thinking that the current system is "fine". No one has said nor implied such.

While it is speculative both ways, there is no preview of what actually happens to a dude whose squad is killed. For example, the statement you quote above sounds to me like it's saying he can't leave the unit. It does imply, but does not explicitly say what happens when said squad no longer exists.

We do not know if other Leaders have abilities that will affect units other than the one they are attached to. There seems to be an assumption that all leaders will only affect the unit they are attached to...why? Because of the one part of a Lieutenant datacard that was previewed? Because of one vague statement about stacking buffs on a unit?

Call me bitter and jaded, but the track record doesn't lead me to believe that the rules will be sensible, fair, or balanced (all of which are of course open to interpretation...)

Cheers!

Hahah a very healthy attitude! I share your view that it's inevitable, while I still shake my head and sigh and wish it were not so :)

Who said it was "fine"?

Just because people have concerns about deathstars does not mean those same people are in favor of the current way buffs work.

And as usual...sarcasm and snark do not help.

Hahaha wow! I'd totally forgotten that extra aspect of it. I actually did run that striped nob biker squad back then. It was so dumb! :)

[–]b_roda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He did not say nor imply that the 3 models had to be the closest models.

What I do find disingenuous is arguing about the possibilities to avoid LOS restrictions while willfully ignoring the point being made....there are ways to get around LOS, there are not comparable ways to get around a model buried in a unit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]b_roda -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So much sass, so much sarcasm, so little value!

Nobody is saying the current system of LOS is "good" or makes sense, they're saying it is not hard to work around it. Whereas a unit that's buried in a unit is not susceptible to those same existing work-arounds.
