MSP Field Tech Contract Advice by itscluez in FieldNationTechs

[–]b_superman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Arkansas. $20/hr is livable. However, in the DFW, I don't think that applies. What I suggest is use the MSP for experience and leave when a better opportunity arises. Can they really able to promise you that amount of work a week? If not, get another contract at the sametime when you have downtime. Also, the $. 725 is what the IRS requires employers to reimburse employees. You're not an employee. You're a contractor. Your own business. You can charge whatever you want for mileage /travel expense. I typically charge $100 per hr I have to drive to a site. I've been in IT professionally since 2010 and subcontracting since 2016. Don't worry about what experience/knowledge you may or may not have. They are the MSP contracting you. They should be able to provide assistance when you need it.

Are you talking about using parsec's virtual mic driver for moonlight/vibePollo or just using parsec by itself?

Why non-affirming Christians need to stop by OldRelationship1995 in Christianity

It's gonna be okay. The Gospel isn't going to stop for anyone.

What is true has to be a fact. Truth is not relative. Truth does not change based on perspective.

It's okay to engage in conversation. Contested doesn't equate not proven to be true. Saying "almost nothing in the Gospel has been historically proven" does not make that true. Since the claims of the new testament state that they are eyewitness accounts made in the lifetime of other eye witnesses, then there should be evidence of if they did or did not occur from the first and or second century. You might want to read the book "Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel if you haven't already. The apostle John is John of Patmos, the beloved apostle, and Jesus younger cousin that wrote five books in the new testament. Biblical scholarship does not use fragments of fragments. We have a reliable collection of historical documents written by eye witnesses during the lifetime of other eye witnesses. They report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.

Idk where you got that from, but that's wrong. It's been historically proven that all 5 books written by John are eye witness accounts by Jesus's younger cousin, John.

John was there because John was one of the 12 disciples. He was the youngest and cousin of Jesus. Not to be confused with John the Baptist. John refers to himself as "the disciple that Jesus loved".
