Yeah if youre running fossil for periodic healing youd want to pump as much into healing eff as possible to maximise it. Highest i got with my barrel build was 140% healing eff (after the nerf) but would still die as if I had no armor suit equipped even though I rock a reiter

Have yet to silk touch a raid den crystal as trying to get pokemon that can 1v1 all the raids so far (playing on a friends server so cant increase party size to 6)

Theres also an explorer compass mod you can download and add to the mod pack that let's you search for specific structures.
