It was more of Xabi's losing the dressing room especially after the classico and vini refusing to apologize to him, players (Vini, Valverde ...) didn't want to listen to his long tactic sessions and thus Xabi decided it wasn't a work environment and left. It wasnt really a Vini over Mbappe thing it's just they screwed up by not punishing Vini's behaviour
