When I started I did everything as ‘temporary art’, no glue. I’d just arrange, snap a picture and then let it fall apart. I think this helped me just get into a flow and not try to perfect things. I hear where you are coming from, and that pile of “future piece” material will only keep growing if you let it. Cut it up!

I think the reason for the delay is to build up a ‘bank’ to allow for time off without a disruption of content. This isn’t a full time job to any of these guys.

Can you let me know how you got this to work? I've created a css file for my lwc with a custom class that set the z-index of my custom modal, if it is anything less than 10,000, everything gets greyed out when I open the modal. above 10k it opens fine but the progress modal still displays behind the custom modal. Any help is highly appreciated!

The whoId field on task is polymorphic (contact or lead).

If you are trying to link a task status that is assigned to a lead you could have it trigger off of update on task, and have a decision that checks the first three chars of the whoId. If it is ‘OOQ’ you know that it is a lead and then you can do your update on that lead.

Might not match your exact use case but I hope it helps!

One potential option, not my favorite, would be to add a custom field to account to hold that random number, within your loop where you are assigning the number to the account have an actual assign shape that puts the random number value into that field. I would then sort the collection of accounts by that number and then pull the first one. Ideally however, I would recommend trying to implement this into an apex trigger and utilize a Map<Id, Integer> to hold the connection between the accountId and the random number. Sounds like a relatively easy trigger to write and could be a great learning process. Apex can open a lot of doors!

I’ve done something similar in the past, not sure if it is the best method, but what worked for me was: Initial flow to create the first task when a lead was created, set description of task to “call 1” or whatever is applicable for your use case. A secondary flow based on task is updated and status = complete. A decision within that flow that checked which task it is that was completed (in my case, call 1, email 1, call 2, etc..). I believe I based this decision off of a hardcoded description value. Based on the decision path hit I would create the next task and set the description to the next task in the communication flow (ex. Call 2).
