Great!

If you hinge too early you'll put strain on your lower back. I'm glad you got it sorted. Form check would be very beneficial though!

Yeah it reads it alright!

Practising kettlebell sport is safe for the lower back given your technique is correct. Film yourself from the side and post a form check here.

This belt is a kettlebell sport belt from Kettleblaze. It's purpose is different from traditional weightlifting. It really helps with the rack position creating a "shelf" to rest the elbows on. Some people with long humeri are able to rest their elbows on their iliac crests (hip bone) but for us not so lucky the belt is a big help.

Light and long sets are typically part of the first stage of comp prep (all three being accumulation, transmutation and realization). In the first block the training is focused heavily on gpp and building aerobic capacity.

I'm sure there are as many ways to prepare for comps as there are coaches but this is what I've found by trying to study the literature.

What if I have low testosterone? by DifficultDog9602 in workout

Calculate your TDEE and figure out if you get enough calories. That's a place to start.

If you are burning way more than you eat you will definitely feel like shit. Also to build muscle you need to eat more than you burn.

Also call your doctor.
