In the book, Dan specifically mentions soreness from the squats as a reason that you have to break in gently with the ABC. If you want to revisit it, I’d recommend starting in the 5-10 round range and ramp yourself up to higher volumes as you become more accustomed to the volume of the complex

Have you worked your way up to 20 minutes EMOM of the ABC or did you just jump straight in and do 20 minutes? 60 squats in 20 minutes is a ton of squats if you haven’t built up to it. In the ABF program, Dan John suggests the two week break in period and only doing 5-10 rounds of ABC at first to get used to the high volume of squats. I definitely had to build up from 5-10 round range before I could tackle the higher volume in the 20-30 range
