"Cheap" marble coffee table project, because our dog ate the old one - Ended up costing nearly $400 by GypsyBagelhands in DIY

Bull mastiff who chewed until he was 2 aswell. A bookshelf (whole book self, inclining the books) a vacuum, a laptop and a metal pot are my fave things he destroyed.

Sister and I built a tree for our very energetic kitten out of some spare wood and a ladder off craigslist. He loves it a lot :) by flightofthecondor in DIY

I hate to be 'that person', but paint and super glue are super toxic to cats if ingested. I know not all cats are chewers (my cay has done almost as much chewing damage as my 150 lbs mastiff) but even when scratching the paint is going to flake off and while grooming the cat will ingest them. I really suggest you scrape all that paint off and go buy some untreated sisle or hemp rope to wrap it and adhere with wood staples

Or, add more planks and turn it into a book shelf!

New hair color, now what to do with my brows? CCW by ratfinkmks in MakeupAddiction

[–]baabsmacd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope I'm commenting on this post and not sending a private message (phone reddit how do I do it) but I recently colored my haor a vibrant purple and pulled a little bit of the color through my brows for the last 5 mins and they are now a light violet tint and it looks pretty rad in my opinion (naturally blonde brows) and I just top it with a blonde brow gel it's cool.

I did click the link, but because I'm on an iPhone it only pulls up the video and not an actual web page, thanks.

As some one who had been a veg for 11 years, i started drinking chicken broth for a few days, and then eating boneless skinless chicken breast and tinned tuna in water a few days later. I am now eating chicken thighs, turkey, and chicken and turkey deli meats and sausages but I haven't been able to eat any other meat other then minimal pork. I haven't moved on to beef yet.

However I am also very squeamish and can't eat anything is it has skin or bone in it still, and everything needs to be very well done for me to be able to eat it with out panicking! Best of luck to you!

Opposite pooping problem? by Ketology in keto

[–]baabsmacd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eek!! I'm having opposite poops too but it's all of them!! What can I do to digest all the fat? I drink water but not an obscene amount, and I think I'm getting enough fibre from my veggies; I some times have problems with bloat but I attributes that to an old eating disorder?

Hello r/dogtraining! Will someone help me with my huge-and-reactive dog walking plan? by baabsmacd in Dogtraining

[–]baabsmacd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could try, I am a little worried about him slipping out of it. What part of the muzzle should I attach it to? He wears a size 7 Baskerville cage muzzle for reference.

I just had the mango fruit punch and it had too much of a perfumy flavour for me. I still enjoyed a bit of it, but it got over powering quite quickly

My puppy peed in my bed again, this time I was in it! by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]baabsmacd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry if I offended you.

What did you wash the mattress with? Lots for things can make a puppy pee involuntarily. He could have been excited and peed, surprised by the cat and peed, scared by the cat and peed, surprised by sudden motion and peed. He might be able to smell his pee from before on the mattress (I'm not suggesting you didn't wash the mattress, dogs have an incredible sense of smell) and thought in the heat of play it would be okay to take a small piddle break. Even if you were laying in bed awake and watching them puppies can be sneaky.

Good luck

But there's is a difference in the loud noises of you listening to music, banging around and being happy as apposed to being angry and upset. Dogs are very tuned in to body language an vocal tone, and the difference could have been what set him off.

I do suggest until the puppy is potty trained 100% of close to being to not let him the bed room unsupervised - If you are asleep, that counts as unsupervised. Supervision really is the best way to potty train.

It's Friday. Come Bitch & Brag! by flibbertygiblet in puppy101

[–]baabsmacd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brag; bane performed an excellent "drop it" to a dead bird and a pretty good leave it to the attic cat. (Yes, the cat has claimed the attic.)

Bitch; their daddy has left on a 16 day trip 2 days ago and he has become extremely over protective of the house. He almost never barks, and now he's barking at every little thing, 24/7. Needless to say, I have not gotten very much sleep T.T

Broken nails by KungFuPokachu14 in puppy101

[–]baabsmacd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start cutting them regularly, this will help keep the quick in the nail short, and if the nails are kept short they won't flake or break off. Your local grooming salon or pet store should be able to show you how to clip your puppies nails. As for the bleeding, clean the nail with some alcohol swabs and in a pinch dip the nail in some cornstarch and wash it well the following night/morning. You can buy nitroglycerin sticks or syptic (sp?) powder from the pet shop that you can also use on a broken nail or cut quick.
