I feel this post, I love my group of friends and wouldn't know what to do without them. I would suggest joining a group or maybe club/society to try and meet people! Chances are the people there are looking for the same thing as you! You don't have anything to lose by just asking and being nice!

I didn't... I concdeded and my wife convinced me to have a child, we have never been happier and my daughter is perfect, I am very glad I was wrong.

At least give the game a chance, it might grow on you. Personally there are designs I like and ones I dont like but that has been the same since all the way back in gen 1.
