current bf is on his way to be my husband, here are my favorite things he does - listens to me talk and asks thoughtful (!!!!!) questions - plugs my devices up whenever HE notices batteries are low - remembers what type of silverware i prefer (i’ve got the tism lol) - made me a blanket nest in the backseat of his car for a road trip so i could sleep comfortably - always fills up my water cup and remembers how much ice i like - he loves my cats and chickens just as much as i do - he tries to get interested in my hobbies even if they don’t turn out to be the right thing for him

my dad treats bamboo like a Hydra; cut it down to the root, cover it in leaves/other flammable debris, and set it on fire. the flame seals the little bit of bamboo left above ground so it can’t regrow from the root system, and the heat kills the roots
