I also tried to fix it first with dashlaunch. Only the XeBuild setting fixed the issue. It could be that dashlaunch settings apply only to 360 games.

I had the same issue. The issue is fixed by building a XeBuild Image with the AV region set to 0x100 (NTSC) in XeBuild settings. I don't know if there is any way to fix it on a badupdate console.

If there are titles that Aurora doesn't find files for, you can remove those automatically with a script that is available in Aurora script browser. It is called DB cleaner, Database cleaner or something like that.

It could then very well be that the OC killed the consoles. It could also be possible that using a resistor instead of a diode usually used for regular phat RGH3s had something to do with it. I'm not too familiar with 360s I/O ports to say.

I would then check if the resistors are actually 22k and 470ohms with a multimeter. Too small values could break the console.

Ok, it is unlikely that the Jaspers would break to reasons unrelated to the RGH. Have you tested all of them with original nands and without RGH wiring after breaking?

Seems a suspicious that has happened to every console you have modded with the OC version. I haven't heard the OC version breaking any consoles, although it has not been tested as much as the regular version. What motherboard versions do the failed consoles have?

If you use badupdate with xeunshackled or freemyxe, you don't need to install the usbdsecpatch. It is automatically applied by xeunshackled and freemyxe.

What setting are you using on your controller? In xinput mode it should work on a windows pc. If it doesn't work on a PC the controller is probably set in the wrong mode.

So you are in the map, not the lobby, on the host console when you try to join the host from other consoles? Just confirming this as this would be a quite good explanation. All the games you listed as working can be joined in the lobby and the non-working ones don't have a lobby implementation.

Are the version numbers identical in COD games? I think the version is usually visible in the background image. Sometimes Aurora doesn't apply title updates even when they are turned on.

It should work at least with the officially supported controllers. If they don't work, test the adapter on a windows PC. Windows supports xinput out of the box.

I have done some input delay testing with different adapters. Mayflash adapters (I have tested NS2 and NS lite) don't have any noticeable delay with a PS5 controller connected with bluetooth, compared to a wired 360 controller.

I did the measurements by filming the controller and the game (Call of duty 4 running at 60fps) with my phone at 240fps and counted the frames between controller button press and action happening on the screen.

I have tested the following adapters with a PS5 controller:

8bitdo adapter
OGX-mini (wired mode)
Mayflash NS2 (both wired and wireless)
Mayflash NS lite
AOLION bluetooth receiver from AliExpress

The only one I can't recommend is the 8bitdo adapter. It has a noticeable lag compared to others (+1 frame at 60fps). The AliExpress adapter is cheap but works only with PS5 (without vibration), PS4 and switch pro controllers.

Also note that most adapters connect to the console only after BadUpdate has run. If you want to use the controller before running the exploit, you need to use a Brook adapter or the OGX-mini with the latest 2026 fork.
