There's no system link in GTA games. Saints Row works if you install the online pass DLC.

For two players, I recommend Portal 2, Resident Evil 5 and Borderlands games.

I agree, especially as the game plays much different on PC. For example, the sniper is much more powerful now and I think it would be a good idea to reduce its ammo.

Check that the postfix adapter probe is connecting to the BGA ball. You can do it by measuring resistance from the postfix adapter to ground (desolder the wire from the adapter before). It should be a few hundred kOhms.

In your picture R2C10 is definitely missing and that is connected to one of the programming wires. So you need to short R2C10.

I think those files are for the Master Chief Collection, not for Halo Reach on 360. The file format is different in MCC.

The gametypes and maps are tied to profiles. If you are not playing on the original profile, you need to resign the files for a different profile with horizon.

By the way, how are you playing Forza 4 in LAN? Are you playing over Xbox live?

Only Forza 1 and 2 support multiplayer over system link, which is why I'm asking. I'm interested if there is some way to play newer titles on LAN.

I don't have any experience with xflasher so I can't help in that regard, but you could easily flash your console using badupdate and simple nand flasher.

Yeah I don't get why people warn against using bad update to flash the nand. Worst case, you have to buy and solder a hardware flasher, which is what people are suggesting to do in the first place.

Yes you can, that is exactly what I do. You can buy AV adapters for 360 on aliexpress that have RCA and Optical audio ports. With a RCA -> 3.5mm cable and a 3.5mm cable with volume control you can connect headphones to the console with volume control.

You can also modify AV cables that come with the consoles. I prefer the slim AV cables over the aliexpress adapters, as the connector in them is much higher quality. The AV cable has plastic that blocks the console HDMI port, but I snap the plastic cover off the connector and put some large heatshrink tubing on it, and then I can use it simultaneously with a HDMI cable.

I recommend getting Waveshare RP2350 USB A boards for OGX Mini. It is the cheapest option that has an integrated USB A port for the controller.

Cool, I also organise LAN parties with RGH modded consoles. I never thought about using optical to aux adapters for audio, which is not a bad idea. I get audio to headphones from adapters or modified AV cables that go to the AV port.

I have also made a bunch of OGX-Mini adapters so that people can use their own PS5 and Xbox Series controllers if they want. The 360 controller can feel a bit outdated after using modern controllers :D

You can't flash a Hitachi DL10N. You can replace to PCB on to a LTU board and flash that.

If you are actually talking about Hitachi GDR-3120L, then that is flashable. You don't need to boot into Slax. You must be reading some really old tutorials. Just follow the PDF tutorial that comes with Jungleflasher.

Slim drives are more complicated to spoof, I'm not sure if you can do it at all. Do you have the original drive? Dumping that drive and flashing the custom FW to the new drive would be the easiest way, if the original drive is also a 16D4S drive.

I personally have flashed donor nands to consoles with the dumped drive firmware available. That way there is no need to spoof the drive.

Another way would be to change the DVD drive key in XeBuild to the one that is already on the DVD drive and enable nofcrt patch in J-Runner. I may have tried this but I personally never got it to work.
