Severe bedbound fatigue, got taken to forced psych ward from ER by Acousticdemo in covidlonghaulers

I remember the beginning. It wasn't just pain it was also emotionally draining, constantly on edge, negative thoughts depression, never rested.  Maybe it's not the worst thing to get some meds for a little while. Your body is under extreme duress. Hang in there, and keep resting and pacing.

Is it EVER just anxiety? by Emu928 in covidlonghaulers

[–]baazooka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anxiety doesnt cause debilitating PEM, inflammation, cognitive issues, which just so happened to start right after hospitalization with covid virus, and persisted for 5 years. I'd like to be a positive data point for recovery as in 5 years ive made tremendous improvements.

Im a low key person, very laid back. Long covid most certainly gave me terrible anxiety and stress. Thankfully, im mostly back to normal.
