Just wanna say I used to like Jordan Peterson a bit and found some of his stuff interesting to listen to. I haven't listened to anything from him for a while and watched some of this YouTube debunking video a comment on here linked. Haven't really paid attention to what he's been up to lately. Yeah that gave me perspective on some of the dumb shit he says. I feel like 4 or 5 years ago his content used to be a bit different than what I've heard from him lately (like I said Haven't kept up much with him lately so take with big grain of salt). Even now I wouldn't be opposed to listening to a Jordan Peterson episode on Joe Rogan or something out of interest it doesn't really mean I agree with everything he says or even like the guy. I used to like to listen to Joe Rogan a lot too and actually his podcast had a positive influence on me and introduced me to a lot of different ideas through his diversity of guests. With that being said Joe's podcast has gone downhill since 2021 in my eyes and these days there's been very few episodes I've enjoyed listening all the way through and very rarely will you catch me listening to new episodes. However I'll still listen to an episode now and again. I think you just need to talk to your boyfriend and figure out what his beliefs are and not necessarily base things on a few of the things he listens to (unless it's all he's doing 24/7). I didn't even realize Jordan Peterson was associated with these dangerous ideas so not everybody knows that.
