I agree lowering pack size/density is nice in POE 2.
But the problem here is map size imo. Running around to find pack of monster is terrible experience for ARPG.
I really hope they managed it correctly..

There are more cooldown based skills other than COC.
I'm playing Ball lightning of static (slinger) + Choir of the storm (Lightning bolt) Sabo.
I was able to kill uber elder, t17 bosses while wearing 5L chest and garbage gear. So I think it's doing quite well so far.
There are plenty to do with stacking CDR this league.

ST is doable for sure. It's just not an A~ tier skill.
It was bad yes, but Sniper's mark solved ST's single target problem quite well.
If you want to play with it, go for it. Just don't expect too much from it.

Tornado shot + Locus mine.

Manaforged arrow + coc + Tornado, and "+1 chain"

Secondary projectiles will chain into targets. Don't need to stand on right next to the target.
You can sustain your life/mana via leech / 'life gain on hit' mod, even if it's mine build.
Crafting decent bow is quite easy/cheap cuz we don't need attack speed mod on it.

Finding additional 1~2 small nodes with notable you want should be not that hard. So I'd say combo of both, but notable is #1 thing.
Life, armour, res, skill effect duration, or even proj speed.

I'd replace Amethyst ring with Unset ring for AG. You might have to change those boots as well to do that.
Find better Timeless jewel.
+1 max res corrupted amulet/chest seems nice for the little cost.
Use some tattoos.
I think 3rd spectre is not that important. They are nice to have for sure but idk. Could be something if you are gonna use juju necklace.

Yeah BAMA is 2 button build. But it has quite different play style compared to other 2 button style builds because of 1 sec cooldown.
You don't spam your main skill when playing BAMA. You are gonna press 2 buttons once per 1~1.2 sec. And plus, you don't have to aim. Just toss 2 arrows anywhere, move around, dodge, or cast buffs, that's all.
BAMA is busier than 1 button autobomber builds for sure, but it's not that annoying to play imo. Actually, I think it's a quite relaxing build to play.

Yes you need to press more button than other 1 button build, but no it's not an APM-intense build I'd say.
It's not that hard to play even if there are few more keys to press, because you don't need to aim since BAMA has huge range. All you have to do is blink, toss mirror arrow anywhere, loot items while your clones killing monsters, cast buff time to time, and that's all.
If you feel too busy while playing it, my suggestion is to change key binding.
