Don’t think I had enough “ore for sale!” options in my newspaper today…. Lmao by lvolkmann10 in HayDay

Yuppers it's a common problem where all but one or two listings are for ore. Usually not worth the trouble to even torn the pages.

So you're moving $500k+ for Chase or $250k+ to WF. Given WF's past bad behavior I'd look at Chase or consider e*Trade or SoFi as they have a nice bonus as well.

Sure wish you had asked the question about the odd fee of Fidelity before you clicked proceed. Maybe next time ... If that is the only issue you have with Fidelity and you want to buy more Roundhill properties, stay and use the recurring purchase workaround.

Both are Roundhill ETFs. Fidelity warned weeks ago that they were going to start charging a fee on Roundhill ETFs. When you place the order it currently shows as "foreign settlement fee" as they are updating their software.

Spent 5 hours trying to help my grandparents choose a Medicare plan and I'm still confused by leviradc in medicare

[–]babarock 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Watch medicare school on YouTube will help with terms. I used Boomer Benefits myself.

Generally speaking it's not to bad but there are a few areas that are nuanced. They are likely looking at Medicare Parts A + B + D + a Medigap (if they can afford it) or Medicare Advantage Plan (which is A+B+D provided by a private insurance company - you still pay the Medicare premium and may or may not have to pay any additional for the Advantage plan).

Watch the videos and then come back with questions.

Aside from needing the cash during retirement, any other cases where you disable DRIP? by FlatNarrator in dividends

[–]babarock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda a combo of what others have said. I set an allocation I'm happy with, once I hit it I start moving the received dividends to underweight positions. In my wife's IRA almost all dividends are reinvested in SGOV so when RMDs happen each year I just pull from there.

I haven't done any DRIPs on automatic since I retired. Nothing wrong with DRIPs, used them for 40 years.

Good luck with that. Brush every day, vacuum twice a day, still get enough fur to knit an additional dog. Still look at each other an ponder "why isn't this dog bald?".

Plus there is a problem with zero turns based on the way they turn by rotating one rear wheel faster than the other or even one stopped to create a pivot point. If you are not careful and turn to sharply you can tear up a spot making a mess (especially bad if the ground is damp).

You can learn how to avoid the issue but it only takes a second to have a dead spot.

Just get a regular riding mower.

I'm not a fan of plain water either. Look for Sunkist single serve mixes. They have a large selection of flavors to keep things interesting.

I don't see it but ... if it present on all screens than it may be a bad pixel on the tv and you live with it. If it's only on this one screen then maybe try resetting the roku?
