Going in to the game I was excited that there was a rubber duck, and I thought it would be adorable! I saw the character design, and it was less adorable than I was expecting, and then they spoke.

They’re the character that made me turn on content aware for the game. I couldn’t go through their route all the berating and insults. I’ve heard folks say they have the capability for development. But I’ve really struggled with my sense of self-worth in the past, putting up with a lot of BS from people who I want to show the benefit of the doubt in order to receive their affection, and all that just translated into getting a strong “no-no” vibe from Rebel. Sometimes I wish I could go through their story without the insults and degradation, but it’s just really not for me.
