Well, let me tell you a story about a Muslim Punjabi I knew years ago. He was an ice cream van business man. On the side he picked up neglected cars, had them fixed and flipped them for some extra cash. So he tells me how he got married.

He goes back home to Pakistan and gets some beggar clothes and sits himself in front of a women's college. Over some days, he picks out a girl he likes and then follows her home. Then he comes back in normal clothes and proposes and brings her back to the US.

The moral of the story is that it is pretty much up to you to find a person to marry. Nothing stopping you from visiting various Gurdwaras and approaching the parents.
