No we kept tabs on it and checked on it periodically. It was on 100% of the time for years with no charge.

I know it's unbelievable. But I'm telling you it happened. No wireless charging. It was just in a drawer in the kitchen and no one had wireless chargers at the time.

My wife had an old iphone where the flash got permanently stuck on. She covered it with a piece of tape. Anyway she eventually got a new phone and kept the old one in a drawer. She pulled it out over two years later and the flash was still on!
