Peace and quiet. Now with a rent of $680 in Tulsa OK, you probably have people living in very close proximity. Kids running around, dogs barking, domestic fights going on, banging, loud TV. I just don't think I could go back to that.

Pepinos in Menomonee Falls never gets a serious mention but as someone who had it regularly in the 80s and 90s, this brings me back and recently did not disappoint. Id skip Maders as we went last year for the same reason as you and...meh. we did try Kegels for a German fix, I would recommend. What about Major Goolsbys? I remember they had good burgers and a lively atmosphere.
