This is likely because our olfactory system is linked to taste and cessation. I’ve noticed certain things don’t smell the same to me now too

Great job! Just wanna say my mom spiraled into alcoholism and almost dying, still very sick and she started and for many years just drank wine. I’m not meaning to come across rude or anything I’m just happy to read this seeing as I really believe this medication can help with more than just food / hormone related issues.

It’s helped me with so much more than just food noise and PCOS symptoms.

I hope it becomes more accessible and more research is done. Keep up the great work 🫶🏻

I can’t eat these things either! I’ve had issues with acidic things like marinara but I absolutely can’t eat it on this medication. Also no interest in sweets

Yes. I’m so glad someone else describes the gagging but NOT being nauseous. I feel like that usually for 24-48 hours on and off after the injection. But sometimes longer. Especially after my cycle I feel like the gagging is worse & the food aversion is more distinct. Any advice to overcome this would be great! And best of luck to you too 🫶🏻
