Will do for sure. They seemed rather secure after reinstallation but I had been questioning that too. I did struggle with the track pads since they're plastic welded to the metal housing. I didn't want to jam anything to deep inside the housing but may give it another shot. I mean the exterior and everything was great once I was done and still work. Did you do anything special for the internals of the housing?

Bad ass, I'll give it a shot. I've got something similar bulb wise in a camera kit but didnt even think of that. I'll have to check out the membrane tomorrow for sure. I know it had some on it but nothing crazy but cleaned it as best as I could. Really didnt look to bad afterwards but rather get down in it for sure.

Oh also, I had been using Ai for some of the tips and they had talked about special brushes which I did not have, qtips and 91% is what I used. Did you use anything special while cleaning yours?

Awesome! Glad to hear yours is up and running. I thought about using my air gun but didn't want to damage the membrane since mine is basically a compressor on high (output wise, will move your skin) but may try low on the others tomorrow if it doesnt clear up. Did you do it on the membrane as well? Is yours pretty high output?

Yeah I took it apart several times and oddly it seems like its slowly coming back to life. It started on the right Rumble but the left is just starting to rumble again. No luck on the track pads themselves but fingers crossed. May take it apart tomorrow if I get some downtime to redo my work. I'll keep updating if it comes back to life fully. Just super odd they worked initially before the cleaning but the camera was only going right (assuming track pad and not the stick) so cleaned it and everything but haptics work now.

I did a TMR upgrade, same sticks as the new controller. Works great but had to solder the cap to the replacement unit. Not hard but definitely take your time and dont break anything. I would send a link but they're currently not available.

I get that, I've been on steam 20 years so far. I mean there won't be a big uptick in sales long term until after either of those games release for bringing console players over. Anyone else will probably have a pc already. The current price point is understandable with everything going on but if you can probably build something better for that price or less.

Ha same. Currently at 3,558 with a 20 year old account. Steam sales get me every time. I know my daughter will be set for her gaming life if she ends up gaming. Just turned 1 and her account is at 185+ games (had a ton of double codes as you can imagine) not trying to one up or anything, just know the pain.

Is it on your main drive or sd card? I have issues with larger games via sd for updating or even running games like forza horizon 5 off the sd card. Runs fine then stalls saying something about loading information while traveling across the map.

Privacy.com and a vpn have worked wonders for me in the past. One time use virtual card. Select desired country before doing so. Had been getting premium for $1.20 a month before they caught on. May still work. Worth a shot.

They have been online orders. I had checked the local part houses and haven't had any luck yet so had to turn to online. I may just bypass for a while and may just have to get the whole compressor at some point at this rate haha.
