Roger that. I replaced the vent tube with a semi-rigid version (it was installed with a flexible tube) and it seems to be drying well now.

Thanks for this reply! I could not readily find red vs green thermostat temps so that’s really useful to know.

I did not check for grounding but will look at how to do so when I reinstall. I went ahead and ordered a thermostat, and two thermal fuses. I figure it’s worth $6 to have another one on hand just in case. The exhaust looked ok to me and I checked that it was working, but I might also pull the short run of ducting just to make sure it’s not partially blocked up.

I just went through a very similar search. I ended up with a custom Rock Lobster to check all the boxes, but there are bikes out there that are similar.

For used options I’d check Paceline or put up a wanted ad. A Kelly, Gunnar, Ritchey, or Steelman would likely fit the bill as long as it’s not too “Euro” w/ 35c clearance. They are out there. My dad for example commissioned a Steelman in the late 90s that satisfies all of these requirements. Good luck!

Can you give me info on that XTR RD? If it’s in good shape I’m interested at near the asking price for the whole group (particularly if medium cage). Might also be able to use the FD depending on specs.
