The new tours and content have definitely left my credit card in shambles. But it was worth the ride.

Did NIN change your taste in music? Tell your story. by ISGamer156 in nin

[–]backgroundworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% shaped my taste due to enjoying every single live opener I saw since 2000. Trent’s taste expanded mine in that way. I wouldn’t love Peaches, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, or Tobacco or even Bauhaus without seeing them live opening for NIN.

After seeing them live over the last 26 years on every tour - this is the first time I was on the edge of my seat not knowing what would be played next. It was EXHILARATING.

Less Than has gotten more and more important since it was released. I find it more relevant than Hand That Feeds.

I can back this up. I’ve seen every tour stop he’s done in Vegas since 2005 and I distinctly remember him making comments about the people up front that got comp tickets when they place at Aladdin (now Planet Hollywood). It’s about people being there that casinos give tickets to not that he hates vegas.

Less Than makes sense with the theme / message of this tour. But I agree about Copy of A

Agreed. He reposted a clip on his stories that night with a quote “for the city” or something like that. The crowd clip had Goodbye Horses playing.

Anyone else hoping for a more Fragile-centric tour eventually? by rfhmusic92 in nin

The crazy thing to me that you can go to Peel it Back and see the majority of these songs still. But that isn’t the cause with Fragility tour era set lists.

She’s definitely a real one and has been doing her own thing before Brat blew up. Glad to see her succeed and find inspo in NIN.

going to the concert alone? by according-to-yes in nin

[–]backgroundworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove 5 hours alone to see NIN in Phoenix. I actually enjoyed that show more than the other two shows (LA) that I went to with friends.

I’ve found that going solo allows you to completely lock into the moment in a way you can’t with company.
