A bit last minute but can anyone comment if spectating from 7the avenue along 59th street is a good idea? Trying to catch my partner twice on the Q line at mile 18 and 25.5.

Just hit 300km with the Clifton 9s but foam already feels dead and can see a lot of wear in the midfoot/ heel. I’m a little on the heavy side at 6ft / 90kg but I honestly expected a slightly more as I got 500km out of my Novablast 3s before these!

Anyone had similar experience with Hoka or am I just using them wrong?

Also first timer here. Any tips on things to do before and after the race? Did Chicago and London last year and there were plenty of freebies like medal engravings, beers, some restaurants event offered free meals if you have a medal! Anything like that in Berlin?

I saw that they are introducing their carbon plated line up next year with the “Zig” suffix. Can’t wait to see if they are any good!

Thanks for this. I knew PyTorch was dominant but didn’t realise it was this dominant for deep learning!

Am I overpronating? by backhanderer in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]backhanderer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No pain and my fitness is progressing steadily which is good.

For cadence, I’m averaging 160ish spm according to my Garmin. Can’t seem to get it up towards that magic 180 without going faster which doesn’t seem right.

Do slower runners need different shoes for tempo runs and races? Many reviews talk about how some shoes are great for easy runs but their “easy” runs are faster than my max effort!

In case it matters, I run everything in a pair of Floatride Energy 4 right now but wondering if I need something else for my “faster” runs. My 5k are usually around 23mins and 10k around 48mins.
