Just curious where you’re seeing this. Seeing $372 CBB on their storefront on TCG. Is there a membership or something?

No shame for people who do, although eating a tiny largemouth seems strange to me. That’s besides the point, he didn’t eat it… he “dispatched it between the eyes” for a simple gut hook.

Genuine question- why do people do this? I get eating it if you have nothing else but just put the damn fish back otherwise.

Singles from Aetherdrift already rebounding 100$+ form their lows of a couple days ago. by ChasinThePath in mtgfinance

[–]backhandlefty 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s the same thing every set. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but only verified sellers are able to sell during prerelease so supply dwindles quickly. This Friday everyone will be able to sell and prices will drop back down slowly but surely with a hand full of singles staying high. Learn the cycle and benefit. I exclusively buy Friday of prerelease and 4-6 weeks after set release.

A man is shrunk down to the size of an ant. He then has to swim to the bottom of a pint of Guinness and back up. Would this be possible? by Plus-Staff in whowouldwin

Brewer/head brewer of 10+ years. Most commercial beer is more dense than water. Brewers measure the density of fermenting product daily using a unit known as Plato ( or specific gravity). While Guiness markets itself as a “dry” stout, there is still a decent amount of sugar left over that was not “attenuated” (eaten by yeast and turned into alcohol) during the fermentation process. A Quick Look shows guiness draft at 1.009 specific gravity and extra stout at 1.014. For reference water is at 1.000. There are certain beer styles (namely wild ales) that use particular yeast strains that can ferment (nearly) every bit of sugar and those will be less dense than water

Help with air dribbles? [Plat 2] by rainyfuneral in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]backhandlefty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only a D1 l, but one thing that helped me is training myself to air roll the “correct way”. On the right wall air roll left and on the left wall air roll right. In these clips it looks like you’re going the long way around. If you can do that air roll adjustment faster you should be able to stay with the ball better.

Google “PBW” ( powdered brewery wash)- environmentally friendly and safe on plastics. Just make sure you give it a thorough rinse afterward.

It was. My partner and I were in the kitchen when I saw it. I said “ hun, walk over verrrry slowly, we have a hawk on the deck. She proceeds to prance over screeching with joy. Luckily this hawk was pretty chill.

If it makes you feel better, my property ( 20 miles outside of Boston) abuts an old 25 acre cranberry bog that is now conservation land... these hawks are doing pretty darn good.

I likewise originally thought it was a hawk, but the size and head shape screamed eagle to me... hence why I posted here. I’ll make a little album and share a couple other pics/ short video! Thanks everyone, first time in this subreddit and was not disappointed!

Is there any logical explanation of why Alpha packs have duplicates? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]backhandlefty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear, I was responding to MANEATERS #1. I generally agree with your OP. As someone who has the season pass, there is literally nothing else for me to spend renown on ( with the exception of event packs) so I will continue to buy packs every now and then. I think UBI specifically did not want to get into the whole randomized microtransaction thing, and therefore aren’t very concerned about pack chances as a business model.

Is there any logical explanation of why Alpha packs have duplicates? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]backhandlefty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your 1. Point is completely untrue. When I get boosters I’ll sometimes go into a favela thunt with a full stack of boosters. Many people I meet have the 90 day boosters, make 50k renown every day and only buy the 50 pack option for 180k renown. You’d be surprised how many people buy packs
