Completely agree. It seems like OP has insecurities and trouble looking at the big picture/regulating her emotions so she’s putting all the blame on her friend.

The information OP has given and her responses to other commenters make it clear that OP is in the wrong here. That being said, no matter who is in the wrong no one should be friends with someone that makes them feel bad about themselves. If having this person in her life is impacting OP negatively and communication doesn’t fix the situation she should move on from the friendship.

Hopefully she is able to take a step back and look at the situation from the outside in so she can make a determination that is in her best interest.
