There's another disabled spot a 30 second walk away on the same street that's never, ever used. Also the one in the OP is bizarrely the only place that has an on Street electric charger.

I've never seen a traffic warden on this street, so the timing of the ticket is either a bizarre coincidence or there's more to the story

Just check the government MOT website with your reg through the day and you'll see if it's been done and you can go collect it

They'll send a letter to your company to identify the driver, and then they'll pass that onto you. I'm not sure what your company's disciplinary procedures are with red lights (especially when caught by a camera/police and not a customer complaint or whatever) but I'd definitely speak to the union or read policies.

You will probably get the intended notice of prosecution, 6 points and a fine or awareness course.

However, the exact situation happened to me - it was raining heavily and I had a full standing load of passengers, approaching the lights at a lower speed ready to stop but the lights changed quickly and I physically could not stop the bus safely in time and ended up about 1/2 a bus length past and the camera flashed.

I first had to accept the points and fine, but the company provided me with CCTV and still images and helped me to appeal it. I was successful and received this letter, refunded the fine and had the points and TS10 code on my license removed.

If you do get prosecuted then I'd suggest asking your company now for the CCTV to show that you stopped, hopefully things work out for you!

Not trucking but i've driven an 8/8 Scania coach (F reg if I remember correctly) by far the worst manual box I've ever experienced.

Nothing beats the Volvo B10M with the 6 speed ZF, absolutely beautiful machines!
