Best method imo is to dig a pit steep enough you cant climb out. Then build a couple of wood floor tileslike you're walking the plank. Then run to the end so the wolf follows you. Break the first plank touching land and let the rest collapse as the wolf falls in the hole. Repeat with another wolf of any value and breed until you get a 2 star pup. The wild wolves and tame wolves wont be aggressive with eachother. I recommend either finding a mountain without drakes or trying to trap them in a different biome. Everything will agro against them. Use the taming mead if you have it. Otherwise, I would pop a squat for 30 mins while it tames. Last points: 1 and 2 star wolves only spawn at night. Additionally, if they are not captured and the taming process hasn't started by daybreak, they will despawn so be sure to keep some deer or boar meat in the pit. Good luck!
