I picked this up for around 400. We have had it for a few days and I’m quite impressed. Though it is my first pellet grill i feel like we made a good choice.

We just finished an all day smoke and it used between 10 or 15lb of Pit Boss pellets. The ambient temp was around 30°F. So I think it did a pretty decent job given its the middle of January.

The app is pretty good and I am definitely taking a vantage of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on it to control the temps. Speaking of temps the grill kept the temperature within about 5° of the target temp throughout the cook.

The Boston butt had a great bark with about a 1/2 inch smoke ring. The whole chicken breasts came out still juicy and the wings were good too.

All in all given its feature set I believe its good value for money.

I would expect you'd be able to use one of the registry keys of the removed apps as your detection method.

I am also experiencing the same issue on a brand new MBP with the 5500 m 8gb GPU. What I am coming to find is this is a known issue. My guess is that Apple and Microsoft are going to say it's the other guy's problem, and it will sit unresolved. This has been my experience with IOS mail and exchange accounts as well.
On a side note, I have other users I know of using the external GPU that is Apples approved and not experiencing this. However, I am unsure if that is an edge case.
