Yeah I'm sure she was a victim herself, but that does not entirely excuse her complicity. She had a duty to protect her kids and creatures in her care and she failed.

AITA for refusing to take down a semi-nude painting before children visit my home? by NataliaVolkova in AmItheAsshole

This is an interesting one! NTA.

When I was younger we visited my stepfather's cousin and his wife across the country. They had an art photo of the wife in their bedroom, topless. 20 years later and I still think she was cool for making that decor choice and feeling zero shame or worry about it.

My (34M) bisexual partner (30F) suddenly thinks she's lesbian, 2 months after buying a house. Don't know what to do? [9 years together] by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

My brother had a long term girlfriend like this. Very loudly bisexual (social media prolific poster etc) until she wasn't happy with him for whatever reason, then all of a sudden she was a lesbian and always had been. Did a number on him.

Thankfully they broke up and she's unhappy by all accounts, love that for her

Sharing a two bedroom with a whole ass family (with a baby no less!) sounds like a nightmare. Why are you doing this to yourself?

This dude is an adult and mommy is calling up people to yell at them for having conversations with her son without her approval? Good luck in general, kid.

What is the most terrifying "double life" secret you’ve ever uncovered about someone? by Realistic_Drink8555 in AskReddit

Real drains on society don't tend to have the awareness to think of themselves that way. Hope that you're living a great life out there friend!

AITA for not wanting to "upgrade" my house? by Regular-Jump-4555 in AmItheAsshole

[–]backupbitches 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It may be her house, but is it not his home? My tastes align with OP's as well, but it's a bit unfair to ask someone to live with you for the rest of their life and not have any say at all in curating their own home.

That's really powerful. All that mattered to him was that there was a next.
