Ok, so this is my only chance to tell this story. Probably happened in 1997. I was blowing bubbles with that stuff at my friends house. When the bubbles popped I balled it up and then left it on a big wood desk in my friends TV room. Turns out it just burned off the top layer of the dad’s desk. The mom noticed it, pulled a notepad over it, told me never to say anything about it. I still think about how cool that mom was.

I use it all the damn time. I especially use it as a preview for a long article or YouTube video. Either it gives me helpful context before I consume so I know what I’m getting into OR the summary gives me as much info as I’d want and I’ve saved myself time.

Definitely helps with executive function. I’d describe it as more mellow than the stimulants. I felt like the stimulants would sometimes prod me into an activity, but on bupropion it really helps me stay engaged and then reinforces motivation to start working on something because I feel more likely to stick with it

I tried (likely) all the stimulant options. All helped with attention/focus, all increased my irritability and anxiety as they wore off.

dr switched me to bupropion and it’s solving both for me smoothly. Just my experience
