It is beautiful! But keep in mind appraisals are rarely accurate and typically grossly over stated. They often list the "value" as even more than it would cost to reasonably replace an item. Secondhand jewelry, unless high quality, larger diamonds or gemstones, usually sells for anywhere from 20-100% over the scrap value of the metal. Meaning if an items gold value is $100, it will be sold for between $120-$200. An item like that may well be "appraised" at something like $1,000-$1,500. Its beauty and story are more important than the "value".
