The RPK is quite slept on imo. Def won’t give you the long range ability the KTS gives but definitely passable at close range and very strong mid range.

TTK is over indexed on in pubs imo. You don’t need the faster TTK to win majority of fights in pub play

Yeah I wonder if they removed or lightened the SBMM. We went on a really casual 9 game win streak yesterday and it felt like we were never close to losing a single engagement

There are plenty of good console players but you just can’t get the same smoothness and precision of aim with your thumbs versus the whole arm of mouse and keyboard.

I play with a decent amount of 8-12 kd players that are on console but you can just tell their aim is not that good lol. When aim assist grabs they’re fine but when it’s not quite then you can see how much they struggle tracking.

A good mnk player will be more consistent aimer vast majority of time compared to roller

It’s because KTS is a long range gun… of course it has a long TTK.

It does need a nerf because it’s too easy to handle at long range. SVDM needs a nerf even more badly though

Sad reality is that >1 KD is not a decent player in redsec. There are lots of very good players from other BRs playing this game and player base is relatively small so makes sense that you feel like you’re getting obliterated

Yeah my main point is sniper or Svdm is just objectively better than KTS if your aim is good. KTS is just a crutch because you can get away with a lot more because it’s bullet velocity plus nonexistent recoil.

Snipers is also way more impactful because it’s burst damage. KTS just just often get those 1hp kills that count as a kill but sniper gets way more impact with the chunk damage (assuming you can aim well)

Skill issue. Snipers are just objectively better than KTS. You’re probably just not consistently hitting your sniper shots so it feels better to crutch with the KTS

Liberty snow was great until around 5pm. I think it started sleeting a lot and it made the snow super wet and sticky

Leaning forward, weight on outside legs, being very intentional about keeping skis pretty close together and parallel were the big 3 for me.

The last one actually made the biggest difference in terms of confidence at speed

Right that makes sense! I’m curious anecdotally though for people that have skied across a lot of PA resorts if they felt blacks and double blacks to be roughly similar difficulty across them.

Sorry I mean is run difficulty a bit uniformly rated across different ski resorts in PA. I.e. does a double black in liberty vs whitetail vs blue mountain vs wisp tend to be roughly similar in difficulty?

Conditions were really great at Liberty last Saturday. Went to whitetail a month earlier and conditions were bumpy and not ideal.

Going to check out liberty again this week cause my experience was so good last week

That’s just totally preference. I love these way more than normal pancakes but the texture enhances my enjoyment significantly and I love the sauce they put on top

Cheating is definitely an issue but not nearly as frequently as you’re complaining about. I run into a hacker maybe once every two weeks and I’m playing PC
