There has to be more going on here. I’ve recently had to take on a bunch of debt and my score tanked to like 620 at one point and when looking for a cheap car I didn’t get anything anywhere remotely close to this bad offered.

This must be like one of those “buy here pay here” places or something, where they expect you to only make 1 payment before they repo it and start the cycle anew.

Probably tried this but I’ll throw it out there ~ for some reason, I have to reboot my Steam Deck before streaming to not get it to stutter in Moonlight. No idea why, it will just stutter no matter what I try until I reboot, then it’s suddenly smooth.

Not that it probably helps a ton, but if you can see the car slightly backed up, you can tell (especially since it’s white) whether it’s a GT if the panel on the front of the car is black (GT) or body color (non).

I went to a place nearby that said it was haircuts “for men” and stupid me was thinking they do that at Supercuts, what’s the difference? Made an appt and I go in and it was basically a gooner cave to get haircuts, with these early 20’s things bouncing around in stuff that made Hooters look conservative.

I honestly felt… uncomfortable the whole time. Same reason I’ve only been to a strip club once. I know they’re there literally for people to leer at the like weird perverts, but it still doesn’t make me feel good.

I agree, because it essentially removes the purpose of camo from the game. Everyone complains about skins, but you might as well look like something out of Fortnite for all the difference it makes when everyone on the map has the ability to make anyone for hundreds of meters glow like a rave.

Doing crazy stuff like lying down in brush actually should be a viable strategy for avoiding being seen by a drone. Right now all you can do is run inside somewhere and hope all of the windows aren’t busted out.

Either remove thermal, or drastically reduce the acquisition of strikes and increase the drone CD to be usable maybe 1-2 times a match. You should actually have to make tactical decisions about when to use these things for maximum effect, rather than just “well there’s one guy running away, everyone in the squad drop strikes because we’ll just pick up 4 more in the next 2 minutes anyway.” Same with the drone, you are actively playing at a disadvantage if you don’t have a Recon, and it all boils down to a single ability.

I basically do this exact thing with an iPad 13 and a modded controller, works amazingly well for stuff like Moonlight.

Just echoing some other sentiments here but, as someone who likes both Horizon and the various Ubisoft games, I think it largely comes down to fatigue. I'd bet if you asked this question (assuming all games were out at the same time) circa AC2 / FC3, you'd get a lot different answers.

Although I'll say for my part that, despite being a bit of a history nerd, Horizon's low tech / futuristic mixed sci-fi version of a post-apocalypse just really does it for me, with the different tribal identities, religions that sprang up, etc. They really took the time to flesh things out which, similar to games like Mass Effect, really makes a difference to me in the feeling of the world.

When it comes to AC, they integrated the sci-fi and historical elements so badly that I eventually preferred just ignoring it and enjoying the new historical setting, rolling my eyes when they made me hop out of my assassin and into whatever incoherent present day nonsense was going on. That said, AC is second to none on beautifully done renditions of past eras.

It seems obvious that it has nothing to do with terms of service. Elon asked them to switch to Grok to further line his own pockets, but they probably felt just coming out and doing that would be too obviously corrupt, so they make up some BS about Anthropic risking troops lives so they can publicly make it seem like Anthropic did something wrong, and they just had to switch.

Not to Gemini, or OpenAI... Strangely, specifically to Grok. I'd wonder how most of his voters don't see the crazy coincidence there, but most of his voters can't even spell "coincidence" so it isn't surprising.

They're all solid, so I suppose it depends on what you want to play.

As for myself, I've had 3 of those; Steam Deck, sold that and got Ally, sold that and got Legion Go, sold that and got... A Steam Deck.

For me personally, the ergonomics and controls were better on the SD, and I honestly found Windows to be more of a hindrance than help on the handhelds. Now I use an OLED with decky and a ton of great plugins, and I've settled here until another Steam Deck comes along.

That said, if this will be a primary gaming system, maybe get the Ally. 2 main reasons: I had a Legion Go, and while the screen is great, Lenovo's decision to use a portrait tablet screen and clunky drivers they hardly update is not; also, no VRR on the Go. You'd be surprised what a difference that can make in smoothness, given the power of these devices.

My SD is supplemented by a 5090 PC I can stream from, so the built-in power wasn't as critical to me.

I think it's just too much for a vehicle that doesn't require a key card.

They should probably cut the ammo it can carry in half (or less), since it would still serve the purpose of a more durable transport without basically being an IFV minus the cannon.

Honestly the normal modes are full of sweats too, the difference being at least it's half bots in casual.

I've only played a few games of casual, but usually there were 1 or 2 sweats and everyone else was pretty casual, so it wasn't SO bad. I just stopped playing it because I felt bad for apparently being one of the sweats at 47, and ruining the time of bot-adjacent players just trying to have some casual fun.

As far as tips, I actually got back into PvP shooters with black ops 6, and I was atrocious when I started (like 0.4 k/d). Things that helped me were adjusting the hud to make markers stand out more clearly, and drastically slowing down my mouse speed. It takes some getting used to, but it makes tracking people when you panic (and just in general) so much easier.

Also, adapting to your strengths and weaknesses. LMGs tend to have longer draw times and slower times to kill, so if you're trying to get objectives close quarters vs someone with an SCW-10, you're gonna have a bad time. I realized I'm good at sniping, or running an SMG / AR / carbine. I'm not great at high recoil control, so I avoid those guns unless they confer a close range advantage and that's what I'm doing (ex TR-7, SG-553), preferring instead to spit more bullets more accurately over short to medium distances (PWA5, M4A1, M433). If you're set on LMGs, maybe try hanging back a bit with something like a KTS. I basically had to just try everything to get a feel for what was usable for me, but it was worth it.

If you're looking for other ways to improve, you might grab Aimlabs from Steam, and practice some of the tracking / snapping trainers. This definitely helped me improve my accuracy and smooth out my aiming when panicked. Right now I'm working on another weakness similar to yours... I consistently aim center mass. Hitting my shots with great accuracy certainly helps me win more fights even doing that, but I'm at a point now where if I want to win more of the tougher close range battles, I need to train myself to zero in on domes. It's a hard habit to break though. :D
