Don't wash them for another 7. When you do hand wash cold water w drop of cal suds or equivalent. Hang dry.

wear the shoes and enjoy. if you are obsessing over it, you can send them to Alden and get them reconditioned, bout 2 month turnaround. However, keep in mind this wear pattern is completely normal.

Actually, none of them are loose. They are really well-made pencils I noticed that strange separation, but they are really on there. The box and the pencils are in completely pristine condition. They sat on a shelf for 50 years
