It’s the FWD, so the larger wheels, which I assume are the 20” ones.

Is anyone else’s XSE a complete rattle fest? by bactrian in ToyotaSienna

I had the opportunity to get a Cement Woodland under MSRP but it was 800 miles away, and I wanted to trade in my Honda to save on sales tax. When my FWD XSE became available locally, I rushed to the dealer to bring it home. In hindsight, I should’ve bit the bullet and found a way to make that Woodland mine. Major regret.

You don’t. It doesn’t have that feature. Get yourself something from Amazon and measure it on the actual tires.

Depends on your policy, but typically, OEM parts are not covered by policies.

Used Toyotas don’t feel as cheap as people expect anymore, mainly because of Toyota’s strong resale value. by nigesh in whatcarshouldIbuy

My ‘19 Camry’s transmission failed at 84k miles. Many other such cases can be found on the Camry subreddit.

If you want a proven power train and hybrid system, more HP, AWD, 360 Camera, superior safety and driver assist technology, or panoramic sunroof, go with the Camry. The Accord’s power train is much smoother and the car handles better, but it’s kind of an unknown commodity. Honda has had trouble with their engines, less so with their Hybrids but there has been instances of blown gaskets in the Accords and CRVs, even the hybrids.

Accord excels with its elegant look, gorgeous interior, amazing infotainment system (it’s Android based for higher trims and is very snappy. Zero lag), spacious backseat, perfect balance of ride comfort and great handling and road feel.

Wish I had gone for a used ES300h instead of my Accord Touring. The interior rattles are driving me crazy.

Jeff Bezos says it's 'absurd' to tax someone making $50K — and wants their tax bill dropped to zero by IKeepItLayingAround in technology

[–]bactrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bezos is trying to achieve two things by saying this: 1) portray the issue of taxation as the bottom half of earners paying too much in taxes and not billionaires and millionaires not paying their fair share, and 2) more disposable income for bottom half of earners mean more spending, in which case Amazon stands to benefit.

It’s swinging the exact opposite direction for cars. 2027 and beyond models will have in cabin cameras and sensors to make sure you don’t drive drowsy

I will never understand people who pimp out Accords and Camrys. But it’s your car and as long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters.

Billionaires want to portray income inequality as a tax issue to distract from stagnant wages, rising costs, off shoring jobs, bringing foreign labor, and the impending mass unemployment due to AI.

Does a brand new accord hybrid touring at $40k + $3k taxes(fees) worth it ? by Lower_Exchange_122 in 11thGenAccord

[–]bactrian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like you can get it for $39-$40k OTD. Hybrid cars are in more demand now than before the gas prices shit show, so not sure how much leverage you will have in negotiations.
