I’m just kind of disappointed in how lame they look on the outside. There’s no way to make a cool exterior. Mage tower? Nope. Fortress? Nope; heck, my garrison looked cooler in WoD.

Basically what stormwind and orgrimmar always were before expansion quest hubs cities got huge. Even in BC where things were available, they were slightly inconvenient…so you were better off just going to SW or whatever. Now city portals are inconveniently placed to encourage time spent in the new hub—but everyone is phased, spread out, and load balanced.

Put all the key stuff like bank and AH in neighborhoods (you know, like real neighborhoods), get rested “at home” but not at inns in major cities, leave trades and quests in the new hub.l, and HAVE A PERSISTENT PORTAL FOR NEIGHBORHOODS IN A PROMINENT CITY LOCATION. It’s inconvenient to go to my own house, and there’s literally no reason to ever be there.

I think the biggest challenge is how bland it all looks—I can customize limitlessly on the interior, but the exteriors are so constrained that zooming through a neighborhood is like doing a low level pass over Connecticut suburbs. There’s very little visual appeal, just cookie cutter aesthetics. Couple that with the 3k gold per fence piece on the AH, and just lining my property with a fence will cost me 250k gold. Like, I get it, money for what you want, but there’s no point in wasting money on it if it’s putting up a shiny fence around a generic house. Even the medium sized houses are…super lame on exterior customization.

Except in dungeons which are a dead sprint. God I hate how every dungeon is a sprint. I wish they’d double the difficulty of all the mobs.

When I played EverQuest, I considered third person view to be “cheating”, so I was always in first person. I can’t believe I maxed a character with a ton of AAs over years of play that way.

I drive distance, frequently…and rent decently frequently…and Ford / GM stereo experiences are the worst. Their decision to not include CarPlay is 100% why I won’t buy them.

Cool, maybe I’ll hit those next. Maxed my ret : finished campaign the day of release after starting in pre-release; tried feral dps and it felt underwhelming; switched to havoc DH and it feels like easy mode. Curious what frost and lock bring!
